A BILL making a supplementary appropriation of public money out
of the treasury to the bureau of employment
programs-workers' compensation fund, "Former" acct. no.
9000, WVFIMS acct. no. fund 3440, from the balance of moneys
remaining unappropriated in the designated account for the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand
nine hundred ninety-four, supplementing chapter one, acts of
the Legislature, first extraordinary session, one thousand
nine hundred ninety-three, known as the budget bill.
Whereas, It appears that there now remains an unappropriated
balance in "Former" Acct. No. 9000, WVFIMS Acct. No. Fund 3440,
available for further appropriation during the fiscal year 1993-
1994, a part of which balance is hereby appropriated by the terms
of this supplementary appropriation bill; therefore,
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation to "Former" Acct. No. 9000,
WVFIMS Acct. No. Fund 3440, bureau of employment programs-workers' compensation fund, for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-four, as
appropriated by chapter one, acts of the Legislature, first
extraordinary session, one thousand nine hundred ninety-three,
known as the budget bill, be supplemented and amended thereafter
to read as follows:

There is hereby authorized to be paid out of the above
appropriation the amount necessary for the premiums on bonds
given by the treasurer as bond custodian for the protection of
the workers' compensation fund. This sum shall be transferred
to the state board of insurance.
The purpose of this supplementary appropriation is to
supplement this account in the budget bill for fiscal year 1993-
1994, from the unappropriated balances in order to implement
program performance initiatives by adding four hundred sixty-four
thousand eight hundred twenty dollars to the personal services
line item, one hundred seventy thousand five hundred fourteen
dollars to the employee benefits line item and four million eight
hundred three thousand eleven dollars to the unclassified line
item to be available for expenditure upon passage of the bill.
